Slow Cooker Beef Ribs
This is possibly the EASIEST and most tasty recipe in the world as it has between 1-3 ingredients, can be cooked in the slow cooker (so dinner cooks while you attend to life for the rest of the day) and it is a wonderful and easy serving of iron rich protein. The beauty of the beef ribs is that they tend to be a much cheaper cut of beef also. I always make sure to ask for the meatiest ribs when I purchase mine from my butcher.
Ingredients
Beef spare ribs (however many you need for your family)
Drizzle of olive oil
Salt and pepper to taste
Method
Rub oil onto meat side of the ribs
Season with salt and pepper to your taste (I don’t use salt as I don’t think it needs it but that’s just me!)
Place ribs in a slow cooker (bone side down) and cook for at least 6 hours on low (I set them up at breakfast time and let them cook on low until dinner time)
Serve with your choice of vegetables/salad
