Let us try to answer some of your questions

FAQs

How long will my appointment be?

Initial appointments are 45-60 minutes and Review appointments are typically 20-30 minutes. If you think you require a longer review appointment, please let us know at the time of booking to make sure we have enough time to answer all of your questions.

How many appointments will my child need?

The number of appointments your child need will depend on why you are bringing them along. Sometimes we only need one appointment to talk through their/your concerns and other times we will need a few sessions to refine and tweak a plan for them to feel well and symptom free.

What should I bring to my appointment?

Please bring any GP/Paediatrician/Specialist referrals, a copy of any blood test/scans/results that you think are relevant as well as a 3 day food and symptom diary.

Can I claim a rebate for my appointment?

Private Health

We are registered providers so a rebate through private health insurance will be dependent on your levels of ‘Extras’ cover.

Medicare

Medicare rebates are available for children who have chronic conditions and are being cared for by an Enhanced Primary Care Plan (EPC) through their GP. You can ask your GP if you qualify for this program.

Other than being able to wear my pyjamas, what is the difference between a Telehealth and In-Person appointment?

Honestly, there is no difference. Our appointments will still flow in the same way and all of the information will be collected, processed and a plan will be put in place where ever you are. The only difference is that you can wear your slippers and we won’t know!

Who should I bring to my appointment?

We know that getting to appointments can be a juggle when there are lots of little people in the house. Since COVID though, we would really prefer if only the child who the appointment is about attends the in-person sessions.

We no longer have any toys/books in the rooms so having too many people there can be boring for them, and sometimes distracting for you.
