Slow cooker baked potatoes
Ingredients:
4-6 large potatoes (or however many you need to feed your family)
Toppings (everyone can choose their own):
butter/margarine
baked beans
leftover bolognese/chilli con carne
tin of tuna/salmon
grated cheese, sour cream
peas, corn, grated carrot, chopped tomatoes, chopped broccoli (cooked or raw), tinned beetroot…
olives, pickles
anything you/your children wish to put on!!
Method:
Wash potatoes well (use a potato brush if you need)
Prick the potatoes all over with a fork
Wrap the potatoes in foil (individually)
Place the wrapped potatoes in the slow cooker with the opening of the foil facing upwards
Cook on low for 8 hours
Serve with the topping of you/your child’s choice
